Henry Ford Macomb Hospitals is hosting an educational program for uninsured Macomb County residents.
This free event will provide information as well as assistance in navigating through available resources.
Henry Ford Macomb is working with Advomas, a Troy-based firm that assists hospitals and their uninsured patients in finding sources to pay for all or some of their healthcare expenses.

The program will take place July 1 at the Clinton Township Campus from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
and
July 6 at the Warren Campus  from 2 to 4:30 p.m.

The event will begin with a short, informational program led by Advomas President Cheryl Korpela.
The talk will cover state and federally funded programs for uninsured people as well as changes in COBRA.
Afterward, participants will have the opportunity to sit down with Advomas staff to determine their eligibility for Medicaid. Advomas staff will be online and able to assist participants in enrollment on the spot. Information about Henry Ford Macomb and other community resources also will be available.
